What do you do when you don’t have the strength to open your month to honor God with your lips?  What do you do when you don’t understand why things go the way they do?  There are many crossroads in life that don’t make sense.  As a matter a fact they just seem rather unfair and cruel.  What do you do? Well from my  life of experiences of up, downs, and tragedies I’ve learned to “Honor Him anyhow” and to honor Him for who He is not for what my circumstances dictate to me.  Do what I was born to do; and that is to “honor him anyhow!!” I have been in those places of suffering where I choose to believe that God is in control rather than let the devil put a foothold of bitterness because of my unlikely circumstances.  I find when I do  this no matter how tragic or bad my problems are God is truly there to comfort us.  God is there to bring the strength we need to honor Him with our lips.  When we choose to do this the Holy Spirit comes into our lives and comforts us.  Our circumstances might not get better right there and then, but His peace is ever present.  I once read on a plate a long time ago, “Joy is not the absence of suffering but the presence of God!” It is inedible that we will suffer in this world but the outcome of suffering depends on the choices we make to “Honor Him Anyhow!”

This is where we will learn how to press in, push through, get up, and do even more.  We keep getting up until strongholds are broken and our prayers have been answered.

  • Hallowed be thy name…

With adoration we give Glory to God always.  We must begin praying with worship and
praise.

This is the right thing to do every time we start to pray is give him
Glory!  Before we can receive from God we
need to Praise Him for his greatness.  We
must begin our prayers with praising God!!!!

John 4:23-24……

But he hour cometh and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father
in spirit and in truth: for the Father seekth such to worship him.   God is a spirit; and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

The important thing is not the place where we worship God but where is
our mind at when we worship Him.

Psalms 141:2…….. Let my prayer be set forth before thee as
incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice
.

We must worship Him with all our heart and be fixed on Him with our thoughts and stir up the flame within us when we worship our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ!

God requires not only the inward part in our worship, but truth in the
inward part.  Such worshipers are rare.

This type of worship is necessary, and what God insist upon.  God is greatly well pleased with this kind of
worship.

God is gathering a generation of spiritual worshippers in these last
days.

When we praise and worship we are warring in the spirit because the
devil hates worship.  That is why we feel
so much better after worship because the demons flee.

Worship takes effort in our part because we have to do it with all of
our hearts and forget about the things that are taking place around us.  There are many times you will come into
worship with a heavy heart.  All your
emotions might be telling you otherwise.

At times you might not feel anything happening.  No breakthrough to be found, but that’s when
you press in.  Press in harder and wait
for that touch of God that makes everything worth it.

When you feel like nothing is happening just wait on Him.  He will not disappoint you believe me
something is taking place when you worship.

When we go to heaven we are going to be worshipping Him for all
eternity!!

Jesus said these words…….

Isaiah 56:7—– “My house shall be called a house of prayer”

The idea here is that God will make us joyful in the house of
prayer.   Don’t have a long face when you
come out of prayer time.  You have to do
this or the devil will take advantage of you and will try to break you down
with sorrow over all the problems you pray for.

Even in the battle we should have God’s joy or the devil will get the
Glory because he has us all defeated.

Nehemiah
8:10, For the joy of the Lord is your strength.

The devil knows that when we use the power of worship against him it
weakens his power over us. He knows that this will bring him down faster than
any other form of spiritual warfare.

So praise God even when it hurts to praise Him.  If that means being alone and crying let it be but never stop honoring God with your lips.

Next weeks’ title “Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done,” don’t miss it!
